Es war wieder ein großer Tag für die Country Music. Zum mittlerweile 50sten Mal gingen am Sonntag, den 19. April 2015 die begehrten ACM Awards an die Künstler. Die dreieinhalbstündige Show ging heuer zum ersten mal im AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas über die Bühne und wurde auch live im TV ausgestrahlt.

Luke Bryan und Blake Shelton führten behände und unterhaltsam durchs Programm. Auf dem roten Teppich gaben sich die Stars sozusagen die Klinke in die Hand. Tim McGraw und Faith Hill blieben dem Event allerdings fern, nicht weil sie keine Lust dazu hatten - nein, weil der neue Film "Dixieland" mit Faith Hill an dem Tag in New York seine Filmpremiere hatte.
