Für Chris Stapleton war es wohl eine tolle Veranstaltung. Gleich drei Grammys durfte der Künstler mit nach Hause nehmen. Andere Gewinner waren unter anderem Little Big Town, Reba und Jason Isbell.

Nachdem Chris Stapleton 2016 schon zwei Grammys bekam, war es jetzt wohl Zeit, noch eins draufzusetzen. 

“It’s a wonderful room to be in all these people tonight and we’re so proud of . . . we always try to make great records as good as we can and I guess this is a testament to that,” so Chris, nachdem er die Kategorie Best Country Album für sich entschied. “So, thank you everybody that works so hard for us and out on the road and it’s a real joy to get to make music.”

Für Little Big Town war es der dritte Gewinn in der Kategorie "Best Country Duo/Group Performance". Damit folgten sie "Pontoon" im Jahre 2013 und "Girl Crush" in 2016.

Reba McEntire holte sich den Preis in der Kategorie "Best Roots Gospel Album" für ihren Silberling "Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope". Für sie war dies der dritte Grammy in ihrer Karriere.
